At this juncture - with New Year's resolutions to do all sorts of meaningful things, I suspect that time or energy to be scintillating will number my entries. Working stiffs like me are immersed in perpetual darkness this time of year, so weekend efforts will have to be made for interesting photos to adorn the page. It does, however, make February and March greatly enjoyable as the sun begins to return! Perhaps this coming Saturday, at the annual Northwoods Sleigh & Cutter Rally, I will capture some northwoods charm.
Here's one from last year's event! Not my horse, in case anyone might be so misguided as to think they were cart-ready. The sleigh bells are really cool, though! Lots of fancy outfits, expensive harnesses, and beautifully restored sleighs.While commuting, the snow is truly beautiful (framed in my car's headlights) decorating every conifer for miles! Perhaps you shall see more later, or even a post-Christmas letter for friends and family. Hope springs eternal, as my current down time with TV, is limited to 32 more days. I have no intention of paying for the priviledge after Feb 17th. The piano will get much more use, I'm sure!
